How to use our online ordering system

  1. Browse the range of products on any of our web-sites and make your selection. When you are choosing your purchase you may be asked to pick which options you may want. This may be the size, colour, quantity or drawer options that suit your needs.
  2. To add your item to the shopping basket click the 'add to basket' button.
  3. You will now be taken to your shopping basket. When in your basket you have a number of options;
    To remove an item fromthe shopping basket click on the corrosponding 'Delete Item' button .

    If you alter the quantity of an item you will need to click the 'Update Qty' button to make the changes take effect.

    If you wish to continue shopping click the 'Continue Shopping' button, this will return you the last page viewed before viewing the shopping basket.

    Click the 'Checkout Now' button to proceed to the checkout process enter your delivery details and choose your payment method.
  4. At the checkout page you will be asked to enter the invoice and delivery address, contact information such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

    Please note: the invoice address must be that of the cardholder (if paying by credit/debit card)
  5. You can choose to pay online through PayPal's secure card processing system or you may want to send us a Cheque.

    Please note that no orders will be processed until payment has been received.
    Please do NOT send cash.

  6. Details of where to send Cheques and who to make them payable to are displayed both on-screen and in your confirmation e-mail, you will also be offered a printable page if you wish to keep a copy.
  7. If you decide to use the online Credit/Debit card processing service you will be directed to PayPal's secure server.
  8. You do not need a PayPal account to shop online.
  9. Step 1 Payment Information
    Check the amount, enter your card details and your Card Security Number - This is the CV2 number on the back of your card. Click here to find out what this means

    Step 2 Cardholder Information
    The only details you should need to enter is your full name as it appears on your card.

    Step 3 Delivery Information
    You will be shown your delivery details again for confirmation and if needed you can enter two more lines to your address and another telephone number.

    Click 'Complete Purchase' for your order to be processed, you will be shown a receipt for your transaction which you may wish to keep for your records. A copy of this will be e-mailed to you upon confirmation of payment.

  10. You will be shown two confirmation pages, the first is to confirm the details given to Barclays have been processed and the second is to confirm the order has been processed and e-mails have been sent.
  11. By clicking on the 'Continue' buttons you will return to the Affordable Furniture web-site and your shopping basket will be empty.

From time to time a notice may appear on your screen alerting you to the fact that you are moving from a secure server to one which is not secure. Do not be alarmed by this.
The secure part is where we take personal details or your credit card details from you.


What is the Card Security Code?

By supplying the Card Security Code you are providing extra proof that you are the cardholder when you order.
